Week 4, One Four Challenge, this week I have let my Elephant evolve back into a real photo.Using my newly acquired Lightroom I have softened him a little. but added more contrast, lightened around his eye and increased the shadows in his creases. Added some texture and possibly aged him a little (sorry).

- Week 3 – Pop Art
- Week 3 – Warhol Inspired
- Week 2 – Elephant in Oil
- Week 1 – Elephant Sunset, filters and effects
- Original
I had so much fun doing this challenge, thanks Robyn, when is the next one?!

Love what you did here, nice use of the features in LR and I really got all the texture and detail in the skin. LR is lots of fun, feel free to sing out if you need some help, for starters I recommend the Scott Kelby books, not expensive and quite comprehensive and readable.

I like the deepened color of the grass background this week, and there is so much beautiful detail in the eyes and skin too. He/she looks like they are going to walk right out of my screen. I love elephants ears, what an interesting animal. I bet this was fun to work on, and fun to capture too!

Love the pop art version! I wanted to do one, too, but my photo just didn’t lend itself.

Well, you did a great job with him (her?) this week. But week 3 is so far out of the ordinary that I have to choose that one as my favorite. 😉

After looking at the evolution of the shot I still really like the first image. For me there is much more depth and balance in tones in that image.
