Connect the Dots

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Connect the Dots.”

Open your nearest book to page 82. Take the third full sentence on the page, and work it into a post somehow.

I met Kahlan for coffee, as we usually do on a Sunday Morning; it’s a ritual whenever she is in town. She was saying that they had to cut their trip short and the next day they needed to return to Aydindril. As much as it pained her to to it, they would have to move on and soon the thorn of mystery over Juni’s death would be shed for more important concerns.

Being married to the King of the Seven Kingdoms wasn’t an easy thing to do and there were so many things that needed his attention; They had Emperor Jagang and the war to worry about. Richard barely had time for her. Even though they had only been married a short time and she knew she shouldn’t be so selfish, She simply wished she and Richard could have one day to themselves.

I couldn’t agree more and told Kahlan, that she need to explain this to Richard. Surely Jagang could wait 1 day, she shrugged and said she would try and talk to him this afternoon. We finished our coffee and hugged goodbye…………who know’s when we would see each other again.

I am currently reading the 5th Book of Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, Soul of The Fire. It’s an ePub so it may not be the same page as the actual printed book, but I guess that it doesn’t much matter.
