Connect the Dots

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Connect the Dots.” Open your nearest book to page 82. Take the third full sentence on the page, and work it into a post somehow. I met Kahlan for coffee, as we usually do on a Sunday Morning; it’s a ritual whenever she is in town. She…

Grey Day

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Image Search.”

Grey Day

I really enjoyed today’s Daily Post, so I thought I would try another word in Google. As it is such a grey day in Melbourne today and really uninspiring, I thought I would put that in the search, Grey Day the 11th image was this one. Everything is Monochromatic except for the pop of color on lady walking on the beach. I love the reflection of the clouds in the water on the sand and the intensity of the cloud formation………..very dramatic picture.

Karma is a Bitch

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Karma Chameleon.” I am a firm believer in Karma, no need for Science to tell me it does or doesn’t exist. I always try and do the right thing, I help someone out who is struggling; pick up something that got dropped, point out when they are…

My Oasis

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Oasis.” Again, too easy – I have written about this before. My Garden is my Zen Spot, especially under the Jasmine covered arch by the fish pond. I can usually find my ‘calm center’ there. Or that little quiet spot down the side, I can sit and…
