After returning from our morning cruise, we returned to Christchurch, weather still pretty bad, but clearing, so we drove and wandered around Christchurch marveling at the devastation still evident, at all the innovative new areas and resources, well as artwork, hope, inspiration and creativity of a shattered people, we felt privileged

and humbled by what was once and in many ways still is a beautiful town. It is very British, but there is a will and tenacity that is all their own.
