Today’s Topic the Natural World discusses capturing natural elements, I find that quite often that it’s when you least expect something that it happens. I am often out and about and see something amazing, a cloud formation, some birds or animals doing odd things, and I just don’t have my camera handy! Case in point, where I was lucky…..I was going to hang out some laundry when I walked out the laundry door and saw this amazing summer sunset, I ran back inside, dropped the laundry basket grabbed my camera and headed back out. Standing in the backyard I could not quite capture the sky, so I was literally hanging out the laundry door shooting on live mode with the camera hovering over our very tall fences to get these shots, taken at 5 minute intervals. I was going to crop out the neighbors fruit trees and shade cloth, but I figured it actually added a little more interest as silhouettes against the sky which poetically caught on fire………the colors were amazing. So it is sometimes a case of right place, right time!
Here are a few other shots, which I felt captured a natural element, whether moss on a tree, a geyser erupting or a frame placed to capture a great view!
P.S. This is what I had up last time for Natural World
