This Month for One Four Challenge by Robyn at Captivate Me, I thought I would attempt something very different. So I went old school in Photoshop with my trusty Wacom Tablet, and pushed past the usual filters and presets. So I used this image of a discarded succulent in a broken old pot in front of some broken wooden palings, I found out the back. I have put the original in again this week in case the processed version is a getting a little too much. So what have I done? I took the finished version from last week and then added a an image over the top and changed to soft light, I then added some more gradient filters and deepened the shadows. I am quite happy with the dark, moody effect, but it is still just an add on from last week. Next week I am going to make a completely different images from scratch from the original. I hope 🙂
Happy Snapping

Really enjoying this Jules – the dark moody, gritty editions are not something you’d expect with this smooth rounded succulent – but they work so well and are very pleasing 😃😃 Fabulous!!

The colours are really interesting. I quite like the reds this week over the cooler tones of last week.
