Monochrome Madness 2-22 – Bridges

This week on Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness has a theme – Bridges, having a theme and having a month in advance to plan, makes things a bit easier. But Melbourne’s weather does not! This was taken on a very cold, wet day in Melbourne a few weeks ago with my new wide angle, however on checking I had a focal length set to 19mm? So much for wide angle, but I still love the photo.

I straightened and cleaned up a little, then used a 75% Orton Effect (that’s why there is a slight halo effect around the lamp posts), adjusted the exposure slightly and then converted to B&W, then added a vignette..and voila! A Bridge, one of the many in Melbourne over the Yarra.
