Why WordPress, Why?

Just a small rant here, I know other people have experienced some problems with WordPress, but here is a new one for me, I get a notification that someone has made a lovely comment on a post, I go to thank them, WordPress suddenly decides in it’s wisdom to trash the comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY????????????????????

Then I cannot seem to get it back, and BAM it’s gone, it’s annoying and frustrating.

Please if I have inadvertently trashed your comments; please, PLEASE do not think I have done it on purpose. I apologize and love each and every comment I get. This is not a once off, it has happened numerous times now.
