SO this week’s challenge is a Movie poster for cover make over ‘Six Days and Seven Nights’ with Harrison Ford and Anne Heche, I love this movie, I haven’t seen it in years, but I know I have the DVD somewhere…………I need to dig it out and watch it again now 🙂
OK so this is my version, I kept it really simple…….cropped the original photo and resized it (From my trip up to Port Douglas……..sigh, I’d love to be there now). I added a pint daub artistic filter to soften a touch. Then placed a 75% opaque black box over 90% base image on new layer, added a drop shadow. The text is mix Poor Richard and Tempus Sans, with drop shadow on the title only. All done in PS, that’s it folks!
Til next time, happy snapping………..

I like the addition of the opaque black box – great idea to help text stand out. Fab cover. Ahhhh the beach…. Definitely time for a holiday.

That’s what it will be! As it is my turn to make our version, I’ll be selfish 😉 and see which one is easier to do, right? Lol

One of our most watched movies . . . “It’s an island, babe. If you don’t bring it, you’re not going to find it here.”
