Day 25, Depth of Field and Creative Blur, now I am sure it is not just me, but I found the how DoF and Aperture concept the most difficult to understand when I started first learning photography. In saying that I STILL sometimes get quite confused, but I shoot from the gut, so to speak so I rely on what I see in my viewfinder and LCD, as opposed to what science and maths dictate. I do know that the smaller the number the better the blur.

Mid range Depth of Field
Perhaps that makes me a bad photographer, or just a really creative one I am not sure!

Go with the gut. You can get too bogged down with all the science behind it and lose the shots. These are great photos.
