It’s One Photo Focus time again……..even though I will admit to being a touch under the pump (very busy for you non Aussies), I still managed to make some edits on this image. On the right is Helen Chen’s original, it sort of reminded me of old temples in Cambodia and Indonesia and such; where the jungle has reclaimed the buildings………..so that is where I let the image take me. To visit Stacy’s ONE PHOTO FOCUS page click here.
All processed in Photoshop;
- added adjustment layers to darken the edges to create atmosphere
- coloured overlays and additional shadows
- added some grass, more vines, & cobwebs
- additional textured overlays as well
- Added a black layer over the top to bring it all together and then by using a mask I removed most of the black with a thick heavy brush
- Then added a crooked frame for added interest and made a new background from some colours in the image.

Til next month, happy snapping…………

The spider web is great, and the dark and moody atmosphere you’ve created, is really cool. Love the crooked frame as well. 😀

I love it! Can’t take my eyes off the spider web and the interesting layers. I could stare at it for a long time… so much to see. Me, too, wish I know Photoshop better. Thank you!
