Manic Mondays

Christmas is getting closer, you can tell the shops are all full of decorations and are all playing Christmas carols, just enough time to drive us all bonkers before Christmas actually arrives, lol! Friday night out evening photography shoot was pretty much rained out and after a long exhausting week, neither Moth nor Myself was quite feeling up to another night lugging gear around the City streets, it was cold, stormy and very, very wet. We stayed in doors instead and had an early night.

Saturday, my friend Sue and I attended the Paris to Provence French Festival at Como House, it was packed (as expected after the attacks last week), but we had a wonderful day, ate too much, but surprisingly spent very little (Not like us, normally we girls are so bad when we are together!).

This is a Can-Can dancer I played with in Photoshop from the festival.

On Sunday Sue, Moth and Myself attended a German Christmas Market, alas no real photos, but it was interesting. It was quite spread out and there was lots of knick knacks and hand made Christmas Ornaments, German Carols, and food. The queues for the German Sausages and Black Forest cake and Coffee were huge so we decided to pass and drive up to Olinda in the nearby Dandenong Ranges, as it was turning into such a beautiful day.

We spent a pleasant afternoon having a lovely long lunch at the bakery, then wondered through all the craft shops looking for Christmas Presents, bought some fudge and lollies from the wonderful Lolly Shop, and then finally made out way home. Here is a few shots from nearby Grant’s Park this time last year.

Well that’s about it for now, here’s hoping you all have a great week, til next time happy snapping……….
