I am up to Week 13 of my 52 Week Challenge and it is What’s in My Pantry, not terribly exciting, in fact mine is a bit of a mess…….if you’re an Australian you will know everything in my pantry shot here, my whole family grew up on these staples; Vegemite (of course), Honey, Nutella and Peanut Butter, there is some jam behind that and then the good old Soy Sauce and a few other bits and pieces.

The image itself is not very exciting and it needed, something………So I took it into Nik Analog Efex for some old fashioned treatment.

Love the effects! I was gonna ask if all these ‘staples’ had been around for that long before I clocked the fact that you used ‘effects’ to give the photo that nostalgic feel!!!!

The brands look different from what I use…Kraft makes peanut butter? Who knew! Nutella is here now thankfully! Miam, miam! Vegemite…tried it once and decided it must be an acquired taste. 🙂

isn’t it strange how some brands differ from place to place………and yes Kraft make the best peanut butter, nothing else will do in my house. most people when they try vegemite, spread it thick like jame, you need just a touch – but yes it is probably still an acquired taste

🙂 Do you have Skippy and/or Jiff peanut butter? We use Skippy extra crunchy at our house.
I’ve seen kraft bbq sauce, and kraft mayonnaise but not peanut butter here in No. California.
It is weird how things are regional here in the States. We have Best Foods mayo on the west coast, but in the east it’s called Hellman’s or something like that, and they different brands of other things as well.

Never tried Vegemite. Someone told me it’s a taste you may not like at first? Now that peanut butter, I’ll devour it!

the trick is to spread it VERY sparingly. not like peanut butter or jam (or jelly)
