While setting up for a Studio Workshop, I had a little bit of time to play (well I did need to test the lighting didn’t I? This is also a piece for Kim Klassen’s BeStill_52 workshop sessions #34; On Spoons.I got my inspiration from an image I found on Instagram, so soft, yet strong & vibrant. And how good is this frame? I love it, picked it up from another blog Ryan Photography, thanks for the Freebie! Oh the spoon? It is an antique, one of my daughter’s inherited this from my Grandmother when she got married, it just happens to live with me, along with the rest of the set.

Til next time, happy snapping…

Very cool image. I thought the frame was real! But the top is thinner than the bottom??

Yes the top is thinner than the bottom because I left space for you to add a signature or your logo to the PSD File before uploading it as a Identity Plate. If you want to add a watermark to the image and not a sig/logo file you can download the PSD and Lightroom Template by going to the bottom of my post here http://ryanphotography.uk/2016/05/16/trying-something-new/ where you can download them.

I LOVE how you framed this! It is outstanding! Not to mention what’s framed inside. Love this look. It has the same feel of tone that your lavender photo has. Very nice!

Thanks Laura, that frame technique is so cool……although for some reason the image on WP has the bottom thicker than the top?

Oh does it? You mean the mat or the frame itself? I see the mat bigger at the bottom but I thought that was intentional?
