This week WPC sends us on a mission to find a Quest with our camera, personally I was on a quest this weekend to find a suitable Canola field to shoot my ‘scarecrow’.
I love the sweeping panorama of gold under the threatening skies. This was shot about 1 hour from Melbourne on a Spring day, late in the afternoon. My Model was suitable attired as an Australian ‘Scarecrow’, can’t go past an old Dryz-a-bone overcoat. I almost put an Akubra hat on as well, but the straw hat seemed a better fit.

LOVE THIS. The creepy birds flying in the background is an exclamation point.

thanks Laura, it was fun to spending the day driving all over the place, chatting, good tunes looking for the ‘right’ field.

for sure………..the photos are just half the story, if the outings weren’t so much fun, I would be spending more time in the studio, but then I wouldn’t get to see some much of this wonderful country

It’s so wonderful to get out and about! It’s why I created my camera club. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t take as many photos.
