Monday Musings…

Is it just me or has WordPress gone suddenly silent? It seems like there are so few posts. I know that what has happened in America has shocked a lot of people to their core, but perhaps we will all be surprised by what the future holds?

My Weekend? Mmmm well no shoots………at all. We spent it being totally domestic, cleaning, washing, tidying up, running errands and the like, so a little boring. The most exciting thing that happened was I went out to the garage to found something for dinner to find the freezer door had been left open at lest 24 hours, so of course everything had defrosted and thawed out. More food than we could conceivably eat ourselves, some of which I was highly suspicious of; fish and chicken……….oh and a few tubs of ice cream!

So we gave some to neighbours, had a big cook up last night and are having a lot of neighbours and friends around for dinner to eat the TWO Christmas turkeys that had partially thawed out! I got them on special and now must be cooked or thrown out, such a waste!

I was supposed to visit a lavender farm yesterday, but apparently no flowers yet, so it got postponed. I have been busy working on a few projects, but not quite ready to announce them to the world, soon. This is a reject from my latest project. a little too scary for small children………so he was saved from the witches cauldron to live another day.

Lots of this weekend, another concept shoot which has been weeks in the planning stage, my gorgeous friend and model Rachelle James has agreed to let me talk her into some strange and whimsical shoots again; should be a lot of fun.

So chin up everyone, think positive thoughts and just live your life the best way you can, if everyone does that it is sure to make this a better world to live in, small steps and remember that the smallest pebble can make a big ripple.
