Every month I find the Shiftart.com challenge getting more and more difficult, September’s challenge, for instance, all images were predominantly orange! So I sort of went grungey B&W surreal fairy-tale.
Apart from the boy (which is a composite of 2 images as well), I used the images below to help create ‘Tinkerbell’ and the background, as well as various textures and overlays. There were other images involved; wings, fractals, energy surges and lighting flares, plus various brushes too. I used some creative blur on the background as well.
