These week’s WPC Theme is Structure and we are asked to delve deeper into structures unseen, or at least unnoticed. I like to photograph things like fruit, right up close to observe the structure and shape and texture. I often shoot with intense dramatic shadow to highlight these features even further, I will even cut them open to observe how they differ on the inside.
But, I am guilty of not necessarily observing my surroundings as much as I should, as I am so clumsy, at the best of times. This is most prudent when exploring abandoned ruined buildings and Light painting in the dark. I didn’t even realize at the time, but I managed to take exactly the same shot during daylight, as I did at night with the flaming orb.
