Weekly Photo Challenge – Scale

This week’s WPC discussing using scale in photos, on a recent trip to Bali I stood before an awesome dormant volcano, Mount Bator. The sheer size of this mountain and the teeny tiny houses just visible in the foreground gives a sense of scale.

This second panorama shot, taking in much more of the sky, foreground and surrounding area, gives another vista and scale to the same Mount Bator, near the other mountain range to the right (Mount Agung in the distance behind)

Along the intersection of the bottom and right-hand thirds of the image is a tiny fishing village, also adding to the depth and scale of the picture.
