Share Your World – 31st October 2017

Happy Halloween, if you celebrate that sort of thing, we don’t generally here in Australia, but it is becoming more popular. I myself have not bothered this year, I do have a few decorations and a black cauldron I usually fill with candies and stuff for the children who do partake, but generally, we end up eating most of them. Add to that I just don’t feel the need, the connection…whatever this year. So, onto the task at hand, Cee’s Share Your World.

Where do you eat breakfast? During the working week, I actually have my oatmeal and coffee while at work, going through my email. It’s such a time saver in the mornings. I used to spend long periods of time going through and replying to email, but these days we are just so quiet. On the weekends, if I am out for a day trip I usually just grab one of those breakfast bar things and a coffee to go.

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want to have an evening with? I once wrote Billy Connolly, and I guess that still stands, the other would have been Robin Willims, but sadly that will never happen.

If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be? Tough questions this week! I guess a rose, I adore roses, soft and sweet and smell so nice, but the bush is ugly and thorny and extremely tough, a bit like me lol. Or a big old gum tree, full of holes and nooks and crannies that the animals and birds could live in, that would be nice too.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy, Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely, Sunshine almost always makes me high
If I had a day that I could give you, I’d give to you the day just like today
If I had a song that I could sing for you, I’d sing a song to make you feel this way
 – John Denver
We finally had a few days of lovely Spring weather over the weekend, enough to lift my spirits, I didn’t care what I was doing as long as I could see that glorious sunshine and feel it on my skin. On Sunday we made our annual pilgrimage to Yarra Glen and visited Alowyn Gardens, we took a friend and made a lovely day of it. Photographed the lovely flowers and finished with coffee and scones. OK, so maybe not overly inspiring, but I feel myself still floundering. Need to get back into my groove.
I hope you all have a great week.
