I adore a happy coincidence, don’t you? I recently had a Steam Punk shoot all arranged with a newish model and due to circumstances beyond her control, she had to cancel, it’s OK Life happens. But, I was still very keen to do the shoot anyway, either that or Netflix binge! So I put a call out on a last minute model call Facebook page and was contacted by Ruby Ravonfaere (isn’t that a fabulous stage name?). I have never worked with Ruby before, but I knew a few people who had and she came highly recommended. Apparently, I came highly recommended too, nice to know 🙂
So we made arrangements and did our shoot, Ruby lives not a 5-minute walk from my house! I have always wanted a model who lived closer. Boy, can this girl rock a shaved head, not many can do that. All in the Attitude.
We only did one costume in the end (we tried others, but I loved this look), and three different settings, all in the studio. A little music, some fun props and a few hours of laughs and serious posing and shooting…
This is one busy lady, who frequently works weekends, but I will get her back in the studio soon, especially as she lives so close!
