Cee is back with another SYW, 2nd last for the year I am guessing.
If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Please, please, please can’t I have all three? I don’t mind cooking, just get stuck in a rut with what to cook, and it is usually so much nicer to eat something someone else has prepared for you. I hate cleaning so I guess a cleaner would be high on my list, yard work I rarely do, we have a deal I clean inside Hubby does outside, it just means I end up doing more cleaning, as he does not do yard work very often, our gardens are mostly very low maintenance garden by design. So I guess my answer would be cleaner…there I got there in the end 🙂
If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain? If it came with everything I ever wanted, the studio would be fully set up, and I’d have new lights, camera, lens etc…but would have to take all my props, old and antiques collected, cannot be replaced with new. Also all My family and personal photos, they can never be replaced with new. My Backup Hard Drive, my PC, and monitor may be new but I need my backup for everything I have ever shot or collected, took me such a long time to build that collection, don’t really want to start all over again.
What calms you down? Most often, quiet…perhaps the dog (or cat), a few minutes in the evening quiet and a few deep breaths calm me down after a busy or stressful day. Sometimes music helps, but mostly I use music to energize myself.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? I started the week feeling very Humbug, still not a lot of Christmas Spirit, but knowing I finish work tomorrow, is already making me feel a little more relaxed. Also, it’s not quite so busy at work, so not as stressful. A bit quieter all round, spent the weekend, just hanging around the house, doing Christmas shopping, I did housework while hubby worked in the gardens (See above). I am looking forward to a few projects over the next few days and then in 12 days, I get to see my baby girl who moved interstate and I have not seen her since September.
P.S. Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year, cover photo Gemma, the Christmas Elf.
