One thing I love to photograph in my travels is the old, the weathered, the abandoned and the forgotten. Relics of the past that rarely seem to be noticed, I find beauty in their decay. Stories could be told from the years that they have stood the test of time, so many seasons they have stood, through sun and rain and blizzard. Washed cleaned by rains and covered by dirt and rust and lichen.
This week’s WPC is all about the weathered, I could have easily have shown weathered faces, as I do have a small collection of interesting ones; but perhaps another time.

All of the photos are great but the first two are my favorite. In the second one I really got the musky, weathered feeling of the home of an interesting witch perhaps? While i’m just really curious about the first one. What is that?

Thanks so much Luna, the first one is actually a shipwreck right on the coast amid high rise buildings, it was a cool spot to visit
