A whole new world of Planners

OK, so it’s no secret I am in the middle of rebranding my portrait photography business and I am about to do a big marketing push. I have my new website, I even have new business cards, brochures, and outlook. I need to keep myself motivated and organized…you just know I am a fool for organization! I have been watching various people, including my dear friend Desley and her amazing Planner World (visit her on IG) seriously gorgeous stuff, she even has a YouTube Channel! Anyway, I have been chatting and watching and decided it was time to jump into the fray.

So on Sunday, I met Desley for lunch and a shopping trip, she took me to kikki.K (I pinched her image from IG, I’m sure she won’t mind, I should have taken one myself, but didn’t think of it). After our yummy lunch and lots of chatting it was time to get to it. Wow, there is so much to see and so much to decide on. I did fall in love with some really cute planners with puppies and cupcakes and stuff on the cover, but NOT very professional. So after much deliberation, I bought a metallic grey & gold Personal sized Time planner, from the “Fall in love with your life” series. Desley actually bought me a coffee cup from that same series before Christmas, so it must be fate 🙂 I bought some lovely pens, a few bits and pieces and a starter pack. I must get some really pretty stuff like Desley and some of the others have. However, my planner will be mostly utilitarian and overly pretty. Hopefully, I can soon start filling all the pages with bookings, I have a few and these great inserts I can add in the week to add more notes.

In the meantime, I figured I may as well jump on board and do a mini photo shoot with my new planner and matching cup. It’s been such a long time since I did any pretty, pretty pastel Still Life.

I have loads more, but this is where I decided I should do a shoot for Regular Random as well 🙂 so pop back in later to see that.
