Monday’s Musings

Such a splendid long weekend, Easter in Melbourne can be hot, cold and wet or like this one, just perfect. Not too hot, not too cold avg 23°C light winds, fluffy white clouds and not too many of them. Perfect for exploring.

Friday was a family day, visited my Mum & Dad, Saturday we went out exploring the local area and took the drone with us, it has not been out much. It was wonderful to just be out in the sunshine.

I also bought my self a bunch of pretty pink roses and have been spending a few minutes each day with them. Different lenses, different staging, different cameras even.Powell-Julie_Vintage Pink-17

Sunday we drove back out to Noojee (yes again), but this time back to the Trestle Bridge in hopes of maybe flying the drone, alas, way too many people, everywhere there are people. We then went to see the Ada Tree, Victoria’s Oldest tree, it was quite a hike in and then back out and I was exhausted and sore, but it was such a lovely day. We ended up stopping at the Bakery at Warburton for coffee and cake on the way home. We even managed to find some mushrooms and toadstool, but not very pretty ones.

Today is a planning day with Desley, she is helping me get my Dapper Rabbit ready for it’s Gallery Exhibit, so much to do. It’s not like I have not known it was coming, it just all happened so fast, plus with us about to go away for three weeks, there is nothing I can do while we are away.

I have also been writing and scheduling lots of posts for while I am away, you probably won’t even notice I am not here 🙂

Have a fabulous week everyone…
