All Hail the conquering Heroes…

I jest, but only just. We are home, we left nearly three weeks ago, and while it went quick, it seems like a lifetime went by as well. Nothing changed when we arrived home, there is still dusting, vacuuming and clothes to wash (including three weeks worth of washing!) We travelled 2,942km from door to door, we almost circum-navigated the Isle of Tasmania, we crossed through the Tarkine (if only just), and Franklin Gordon National Parks, Mount Field, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair, and Freycinet & Mole Creek Karst National Parks, the top of the Franklin River, the Derwent River, and so many others. Visited towns, beaches and tourist hot spots. National treasures and monuments. We saw sunshine, rain, bushfires and snow. We met up with old and new friends, saw sunsets, and sunrises and some truly amazing sights. No, we did not see everything Tasmania has to offer, but apart from two spots we missed, we saw everything we wanted to. There is only just so much you can do.

These are just a few of the images from my phone, will post more in depth, once we get settled in and sorted out. I think I took something like 3,500 images and of course we flew the drone a couple of times as well.

I will endeavour to get back on board with everyone I follow, some challenges and things, but it may take a little while, so please be patient 🙂

As much as I love travel, there is no place like home!
