Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Books or Paper, I don’t really have any books these days, I have them all loaded on my E-Reader. As much as I enjoy the tactile sensation of an actual book, I find them large and heavy and cumbersome, my E-reader is just so much easier. I do have a few choice vintage books in the studio (Featured with my glasses and cup), I also have my Kikki K Journal and diary, I write all my calendar events, notes and ideas in it. I used to keep it all on my phone, but I find it easier to keep track of this in my journal – how old school is that?
I do use various bits of ephemera in my still life shots as well, but a really interesting piece of paper is a paper cupcake liner, some are so textural and there are so many colours, styles, colours to choose these days.

I have to agree that I now prefer to read an ebook than a paper one – especially if they are long books. That muffin case is superb.
