I bought a new toy recently and I will eventually do a post just on that new piece of kit, but for now, I am still playing with it and learning. It is a Macro Light Ring which attaches to the end of the lens. One of the biggest problems with macro is finding enough light, as you are often quite close and block all the light.
So I thought I would spend 5 minutes with a grevillea bloom from the garden on some black perspex. I love how structural these blooms are, the native bees and wattle birds adore them too.

This looks to be a fun little toy, Julz.

Yes a little bulky and cumbersome, but hopefully a good addition to the kit
