Share Your World – 3rd July 2018

We are officially over half way through the year, how the hell did that happen? I cannot get over just how fast this year is going, is it just me? Time for another Share Your World

Tell us about your first bicycle or car? I really cannot remember too much about my first bicycle, I vaguely remember running into a parked car with it once. I think it was gold or orange? My Second bicycle was a boring grown-up ladies riding bike. My first car…far from sedate lol. It was a Mazda 1800, which a souped-up engine and sunroof and a really cool stereo, the stereo was worth more than the car lol. I had bought it from then my boyfriend. Big mistake, plus the sunroof leaked very badly, but I had a lot of fun in my first set of wheels, my first taste of adult freedom.

What fictional world or place would you like to visit? Hobbiton maybe (although I have actually been to the movie set of Hobbiton, but there were no Hobbits. Aborlorn from Shannara perhaps. Oz, Wonderland, I am sure there are dozens of other places, but do you think I can remember the names at the moment.

If you could have someone follow you around all the time, like a personal assistant, what would you have them do? Carry stuff, open doors, food shopping, moving stuff around in the studio, moving furniture and vacuuming? I am not entirely sure. I have never had anyone follow me around but small children and animals.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I had a fellow artist come to stay for the weekend, we enjoyed each other company immensely and I feel we have cemented a lifelong friendship even further. We inspired each other creatively and in business. I also ran a workshop on Saturday, which I believe was hugely successful, the best I have done so far. So grateful for all the support I receive from my students.

I hope you are all having an amazing week…
