Share Your World – 25th September 2018

I missed last week’s challenge due to travelling, so I didn’t get to answer the forerunner questions, but yes I must admit that coffee is a favoured beverage, I cannot seem to start my day without it.

Last week I asked a question about favourite beverages and the overwhelming favourite was coffee.   If you drink coffee, how do you like it best?  Hot, cold, iced, with cream, with sugar or black as black?

I love my coffee hot, with milk and sugar, but in the warmer months, I am quite partial to a lovely iced coffee as well. I guess when I get busy and I forget my coffee I am occasionally drinking it lukewarm or cold 🙂

If you don’t drink coffee, how has that beverage impacted YOUR world? I would have to say that Coke rocks my world, also caffeinated, not sugar-free or caffeine free, just give me good old Classic Coke, but if you really want my attention? Cherry Coke, it is quite difficult to get in Australia, and I know of one shop who imports it from USA for me…love!

In your opinion, what’s the greatest invention of our age? Personal Digital Assistant, whether that is the PC, Tablet or Smartphone, I have always been a fairly early adaptor (Once PC became affordable, and I could figure out HOW to use it), I struggle to live without it these days, I run my business and social life on my phone, appointments, notes, photos, diary, just about anything I can think of.

Global warming?  Reality or myth? I don’t know about Global ‘Warming’ but definitely Climate Change, our Winters have been cold and our Summers are not as hot, but they last longer, there is less rain, causing drought and bushfires. Less rain means fewer crops, less food. The storms are much more severe as well, hurricanes and floods, cyclones and tornadoes. We seem to have more earthquakes and volcano eruptions as well…or perhaps it is all a media beat up?

Are you an explorer or more a homebody? I guess I would have to say I am more of an explorer, how can I not say that? I love to travel and see and do new and exciting things. I love the thrill of finding new places, or re-visiting favourite ones. And of course, I love capturing it all with my camera. People say I get to have all the fun, and yes sometimes that is true, but I am forever putting myself out there, and I often take risks in doing things that others don’t…in rarely saying no (Within reason) I have rare opportunities placed at my feet. I have learnt to believe in myself and ask the universe for what I want, the universe often sees fit to give me what I want, or at least what it thinks I need. In saying that I also sometimes just like to chill at home on the couch with my Hubby, dog and some Netflix.

What were you grateful for this week? The opportunities that come my way, I have been very lucky, in the last week; spent a week in glorious sunny Queensland, I Spoke at a conference on my passion for Conceptual Photography, I sat on a panel discussing digital art, I spent three lovely days with my daughter, I then spent a day in the mud with actors, Cosplayers, army guys, tanks, zombies and a whole bunch of creatives, shooting behind the scenes footage for a movie…how cool is that?

This week is all about playing catch up and sorting out a few dramas at home, nothing I will launch into here, but aging parents and work stuff. So after such a thrilling week, it will all seem a bit mundane 🙂

I hope you have an awesome week, whatever you do…
