Spring Outings – Mount Coot-tha, Brisbane

While visiting our daughter in Brisbane, one spot which has become a favourite is Mount Coot-tha, we love the Botanical Gardens and the Lookout and decided to drag our daughter along this time as well. I especially love the Japanese Gardens.

Our last visit was so hot, but this time was much cooler and we just ambled along, I did not cover all the grounds, but a few favourite spots. We were all a little tired, and my daughter was coming down with a head cold, so just a nice easy stroll was lovely.

We then headed up to the lookout for lunch and a few snaps of the city on a clear day.

Eventually, we headed into the city for dinner in Southbank, such a lively little spot, even mid-week…we left the cameras at home and just spent some time together with my Daughter and Son in Law, so no photos here.
