I have literally just spent three days at home not doing much, but at the same time accomplished a lot. I spent most of Friday playing catch up paperwork, edits, business stuff, also did some online training as well…it’s always good to keep learning new things.
I also had a bit of a play with the old Nikon camera and macro lens, it was such a nice sunny Spring day I wanted to enjoy some of it in the garden. I also played in the studio for a bit as well.
Saturday was cold, grey and wet, so we decided on some retail therapy, I had decided the day before I REALLY did want a new smaller macro lens for the Sony, so using the money I got for my birthday I splurged a little. Moth and I also got a few bits and pieces as well. We bought a new Pelican Air heavy duty camera case for travel, we could have used it on the last trip and will definitely need it on the next one. I then popped in to visit with my parents for a few hours.
Nice quiet family night at home, we went for burgers and then watched Netflix, currently catching up on Suits!
Sunday, typically I was suffering from a little cabin fever and I had that new macro lens to try out so we hit the Dandenong Botanic Gardens, formerly The National Rhododendron Gardens, still loads of rhododendron, but lots of other flowers as well. For one reason or another, we had not visited this gardens up until now, you have to get there really early (before it opens) to get a car park, by the time we left at lunchtime the place was SO busy!
Then spent the afternoon doing normal household stuff…and BAM it’s back to Monday again!
Not much else to report, have a private class on Friday and a client shoot on Saturday, I hope you all have an amazing week…
