Desley over at Musing of a Frequently Flying Scientist recently featured some stunning images of peonies, they were all so pretty and I said I would love to shoot some myself, as soon as I find some. That very afternoon I popped out to do some grocery shopping…and there they were. See! ask and you shall receive!
Not as many colours nor varieties, but it is early in the season I am sure to find more. These are all shot on Sony @7ii with 50mm macro lens, various aperture and settings.

Love this flower too but we don’t get it up in QLD. Found some deep red ones in NZ last month and had to buy them just to photograph them. Had to leave them behind too!
