Another week and another set of questions from Melanie (who I hope is feeling better from having the Flu), this week VERY Christmassy SYW
What traditional Christmas decoration is actually a parasitic plant? Without resorting to Mr Google, I have no idea, is it Holly? I am not really sure, here in Australia we have a different Season and hence different plants, possible a poinsettia?
Name something about this holiday season (whatever version you may celebrate) that most people like, but you dislike? Again, not really sure, I guess I do not really sing Christmas Carols around a piano or fire with the family like they do in movies. I might hum a few bars in the car or if I was setting up decorations, but I cannot really think of much else.
What’s your favourite – or least favourite – song sung traditionally at this time of year? So many, White Christmas, Rudolf, Little Drummer Boy, Mummy got Kissed by Santa, Santa Baby, All I want for Christmas…..the list goes on, I really cannot think of many I do not like.
And the last one ———> In the song “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer,” what “incriminating” evidence was found on Grandma’s back? This song does make me giggle every time I hear it…
She had hoof-prints on her forehead
And incriminating Claus marks on her back
Finally: What would you like to share with the world, if time or cost were no object? I guess if time and money were no object, I would love to have a huge dinner party for all my friends, locally and overseas, bring them all over for a great big get together. That would be so awesome to give me of them a big hug in person and to finally put a name and a voice to a face!
I hope you have an amazing week, not sure if we have SYW next week or not, if we don’t I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
