Friday Flowers – Eucalyptus Macrocarpa

On a recent visit to Australia Gardens in Cranbourne, I came across this magnificent Eucaplyt Seed Pod and took many images.

A few days later, I could not resist revisiting the gardens, one lovely cool, Summer morning to see if the pods had opened…I was not disappointed.

This is such a stunning plant, if I get the chance I would love to pop back in a few days to see if the rest of the pods have opened, but sadly I doubt I will get the chance…still such a magnificent display, I had so much fun.
