Monday’s Musings…

After being away for nearly a month, then being sick for the last two weeks, I feel like I have lost a lot of time, but my Doctor tells me the Shingles are normally brought on by stress and fatigue; so I am trying not to do too much. My patience is quite short, with the Pup and noisy neighbours and silly things like keyboard not working properly really pushing my buttons…cabin fever  I guess.

On Friday, after deemed no longer contagious I went and had a manicure and pedicure, desperately needed it and some time out of the house. Moth had the day off so he took me out for lunch and to look at a new Vintage Collectibles shop I heard about. By the time that was all done, I had had enough the sun was shining, my skin still hurts and sunshine makes it worse 😦 so we came home for an afternoon snooze, still really tired, apparently this may take some time.

Spent the weekend trying to finish off (yes again) my Online Food Class, it’s a long story for the holdup, but the last six weeks has not helped much either…but SOON, very, very soon. I also painted a new background on canvas, I was pretty happy with it for an afternoon of playing with paint.

I did a post on my Website blog on how I created it if you are interested.

I think we are finally over the last of Summer and Autumn has arrived, honestly, I think our Seasons have moved…I keep saying that and people give me a strange look…once they think about it for a minute, they tell me I might be right…weird weather.JuliePowell_Flowers-7

I spent some time on Sunday, just as a bit of Zen Meditation, creating some pretty Still Life Flatlays.

This week is all about getting back into the swing of things, re-arranging my schedule, I had to cancel shoots and workshops due to illness, I also have to start arranging some exciting new products, workshops and classes over the next few months, without pushing it too much. Sadly my business has been taking quite a hit over the last few months, time to give it some TLC..thank goodness I scheduled so much stuff for while we were away.

Anyway, I hope you all have an amazing week…
