I have found these phenomena before, these stacked stones, they seem to pop-up whenever we are travelling, Cairns to attract travellers and guide them somewhere, often they seem to be located near water…maybe they are sirens calling to the sea.
To say I was a little surprised to see them just off the breakwater at Oliver’s Hill boat ramp is an understatement. The sun was low on the horizon, we were heading home and stopped here on a whim…we were not expecting the cairns, so I grabbed my camera and spent 5 minutes capturing a few shots.
Would you like to join in the RegularRandom crew? Here’s how:
- choose a subject or a scene
- spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
- try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
- have fun!
- tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post
Desley has been teasing us with gorgeous images of a Raspberry Cronut (OMG looks so good!) – go check them out.
