I am stiff and sore and happy after yesterday’s massive workshop at The Potterage, this has been several months in the planning, worry about a dozen minute details, but the day was perfect, the weather was perfect, blue sky and fluffy white clouds, it actually got quite warm in the sun. Magical late Autumn light in the house and gardens. Magical afternoon tea and shooting and we even had Puffing Billy (an iconic steam train up in the Dandenong Ranges) run through the backyard as we sipped our cuppa and nibbled fresh scones with homemade jam and thick cream.
This was far more casual and free-range than my workshops are, with a whole house and gardens to cover, with ten photographers, I even managed to shoot. More photos when I have had a chance to look through them all.
On Saturday Australia had our Federal election, not something I relish over, so we went and got it all over with and then drove out to Olinda, to my favourite Vintage shop, collected a (brand new to me) Vintage Chippy Table for the studio…just gorgeous. Had to have a quick mini shoot, before prepping for Sunday’s big workshop.
I now need to unwind and de-stress a little, now I have run my first big workshops, away from my little studio, on my own, I am all good, I know it was worth all the runaround and effort, it was such a wonderful day yesterday.
This weekend is all about fun stuff, once I get through the working work. Not much else to report…just playing catch up and editing a few pics 🙂
I hope you all have an amazing week…
