I was recently playing in the studio, with my new chippy table and my new vintage scales and a vintage ladle (getting such a collection of vintage of late), I had some fresh Autumn raspberries that I had got for a workshop.
It was early morning, and my window faces East, so the light was very bright, I had to use light blockers, but then I was playing with them and the blind on my window, allowing just small slithers of light to touch my subject. It was challenging, as everywhere the sun did not touch was heavily shaded. Such a fun shoot and an interesting morning playing with light and shadows this way.
Oh and the raspberries? Divine! You can spot them on the right in the afternoon spread from our workshop.
