Share your world – 5th June 2019

Another week and another set of questions. It’s been a bit of an unsettled week, we are going through some changes ay work, there are a lot of unanswered questions and a bit of instability just at the moment, not something I relish. I am sure it is just temporary. Anyway, here are Melanie’s questions for this week

Do you think there is such a thing as a ‘gendered’ brain?  I really do think men and women think differently, men seem to be naturally better suited to some tasks than women, this has even been scientifically proven. But there are other tasks that women are much better suited for as well. But I also think there are left-sided and right-sided brain people, some are more academic, whereas others are more creative, or have more street smarts.

What is the silliest fear you have? That’s the thing with fear isn’t it, to us it’s real, and not silly at all. I do not like heights, others do, I do not like spiders, others do. I dread public speaking, but I still do it. Things that I used to fear, I have overcome through perseverance and pushing myself. Like going up in a helicopter, I was terrified, but I wanted to do it. When they landed I could not let go of the grab bar and I couldn’t get out, I was frozen stiff with fear I guess – but I still did it.

Out of your family members, who are you closest to? If you discount my Hubby and daughters, it is probably my Aunt, we don’t see or talk as often as we used to, but we have always had a special bond.

What is something you’ll NEVER do again? I can’t say NEVER, but I doubt I will get in a helicopter again.

If you’d like, please share a photo or a comment about something good that’s happened recently!  Thanks!

This image was used on a Facebook Photo group page as an excellent display of skill in both light painting and capturing the fine details that many people overlook. It was said I had a masterful skill in capture the details that many overlook and portraying them in a creative and exceptional way…so THAT was nice 🙂

It seems that my light painting is my current niche market, my workshops are always a sell-out, it’s something I really enjoy doing as well. It allows me to combine so many different genres from macro, to still life with a painterly and creative approach.

I hope you all have an amazing week…
