Scare how the world is flying by this year, again! I missed that week’s Share your world, again – sorry about that. Sometimes life just happens, right? Well back into it again this week.
What happens if you stare at the mirror for too long in the dark? I have been binge-watching Supernatural of late, my mind jumps to all sorts of scary stuff, Mirror Mary and all that. I remember hearing once that if you stare into a mirror for long enough you can spot your guardian angel. Still, I don’t think I have stared at a mirror long enough, a quick glance is more than I can afford lol.
Do you think you’re judgmental? What tends to bring it out in you? I would like to be all high and mighty and say I am not. My BFF and I joke about it all the time and we admit we are snobs…not really snotty snobs, just average run of the mill snobs. We live in a good postcode, we have nice houses and new cars, our kids are good kids and went to good schools and uni and are doing well. Don’t get me wrong we work hard for what we own and are proud of it, we just get a bit snobby if we don’t get our latte and cupcake! lol Don’t think we take our selves too seriously, we laugh at ourselves all the time. We do like to gossip, a bad habit I know…but still fun.
Do you work better with actual lists or with mental lists? I must admit I have both, but with a mental list I tend to procrastinate more, give me an actual written list and I seem to be able to get more done. I have no idea why?
Would you go streaking across a football field during a game for a million dollars (insert your own country’s currency), knowing there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get arrested for indecent exposure? Here in Australia, it is illegal to streak during a football or cricket game, as it used to happen ALL the time. Was quite funny really. Then it became a joke and sport became all too serious and the streaking had to stop, so they made it illegal and imposed really heavy fines and lifetime bans. But the question would I do it for a cool AUD$1 million? Hypothetically yes! In reality, probably not, as I would NEVER attend a football match lol
What has happened in your life that made you feel uplifted and happy, if only temporarily? Getting over this damn cold/viral thing. It is now week 4 and I think I am finally on top of it all, still have the occasional cough and sneeze, but in general, I am OK, and back to sleeping properly. Nothing like feeling weel, after being sick…makes the whole world seem brighter!
I also managed to go on a little vintage shopping spree with some still life photography buddies, students mostly. We had a wonderful day, lots of treasures and bargains, loads of laughs, much chatting and a long lovely lunch, we even had some Winter sunshine, what more could you ask for?
I hope you all have a fabulous week…
