Ahhh Melbourne, cold wet and bleh! Thursday we made a surprise visit to our daughter and son-in-law for her birthday, nothing auspicious, it’s just been so long (nearly 12 months) since I could last hug her. So we decided to head to sunny Brisbane (Queensland) and spend a few days with them. It was a wonderful time to catch up and re-connect. We didn’t do anything really exciting, saw the progress on the house they are building, took the dog to the beach, visited some gardens and Mount Tamborine and went out for lunches and dinners and just sat around drinking coffee and normal-ness. Apart from a couple of early starts to get there and come home, we spent time relaxing, even sleep in! The grand Furbabies were happy to see us too. Young Miss Kira is almost 2 years old now and such a big girl, so sweet, but OH! what a handful, especially after Dexter…who is still slightly psychotic, but weighing in at 15kg is more manageable than 50plus kg Kira.
I will post some more images soon, but still going through them, not that I took that many, just been so tired from a busy weekend.
This week will be another busy one, editing and paperwork (I really need to finalise my taxes!) Then another workshop to teach, Father’s Day and then we are off again! More on that soon. For now, I hope you enjoy your week, stay warm or cool, depending on where you live.
