Not really sure this classifies as a full five minutes for regular random, but some days you just have to take what you can get! I had this sweet little pink gerbera leftover from a class and I just caught a few snaps of it, before it was past it’s prime, a little squirt from the water bottle and Hey! Presto, sweet as. I adore the bottom of it…such a sweet little flower. Gerberas are still counted amongst my favourite flowers, something so happy about them.
Would you like to join in the RegularRandom crew? Here’s how:
Version 1:
- choose a subject or a scene
- spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
- try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
- have fun!
- tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post
Version 2:
- choose an object
- spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
- put the object in different locations to see how the background or surroundings can change the way the object looks
- have fun!
- tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post
Looking forward to seeing your shots. Head over to Desley’s page for more fun and inspiration…

Very pretty, Julz. May be strange to say, but the last photo is my favorite.

Not strange at all, one of my fav things is tipping them upside and getting the velvety underside

That’s the word I was looking for to describe the stem–velvety! The water droplets are a bonus.
