Regular Random – Magnolia and Bokeh

I adore Spring Magnolia, or at least late Winter Magnolia and on a recent trip to Brisbane we spent a few minutes with a lone Magnolia and some beautiful filtered sunshine. When the sunlight glitters and bounces around it can create the most gorgeous bokeh, I even caught some images of just the bokeh alone. Sometimes I get a bit whimsical in my creativity and light (in all it’s forms) excites me. So soft and warm and sparkly.

Would you like to join in the RegularRandom crew? Hereā€™s how:

Version 1:

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it ā€“ no more!
  • try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light thatā€™s hitting it
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post

Version 2:

  • choose an object
  • spend five minutes photographing it ā€“ no more!
  • put the object in different locations to see how the background or surroundings can change the way the object looks
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post

Looking forward to seeing your shots. Head over to Desley’s page for more fun and inspiration…did you see her chocolate truffles? Oh My they look divine.
