Share your world – 1st October 2019

Hard to believe there are only a few short months until the end of the year, it has gone so quick – I know I keep saying that, it time really is fleeting.

If confronted with a violent crime against a single individual in progress (severe beating, rape, assault) do you try to do something about it (phone authorities or confront the criminal, stop the crime) or do you figure it’s none of your business and walk or drive on by?  Worse (to me) would you record the crime for social media use without doing anything else? I would report to the authorities, but I would not try to intervene, I would not wish to be hurt, in saying that if it were someone I loved I would probably jump into the fray. These days it is so hard to play the hero without something coming back to bite your arse. Get sued, face criminal charges yourself. The world has gone mad and lending a helping hand is fraught with danger. “No good deed goes unpunished” – sadly it’s true.

If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them? It’s kind of funny because teaching people what I know is WHAT I do. I would teach them photography; shooting, styling, lighting and editing.

First, think of a product. Now, what would be the absolute worst brand name for one of those products? I am never very good at these sorts of games. I can only seem to think of something long after the event.

What ridiculous and untrue, yet slightly plausible, theories can you come up with for the cause of common ailments like headaches or cavities? I do not know about headaches or cavities, but I used to put salt and tomato sauce (Ketchup) on food to cool it down lol.

GRATITUDE:

If you’d like to, please share a photo or an example of gratitude that you have.

Kookaburra

It is often the simple things in life that can bring us joy and make us smile. While on a recent holiday with Moth, we were standing in really cold windy conditions (rugged up to the eyeballs) watching and capturing this Kookaburra and it’s Mate. This one has such pretty colours, it must be the male. They were so wonderful to watch. A tiny patch of sunlight appeared and perfectly lit this image.

I hope you are having an amazing week…
