Spring Outings – Princes Pier Sunset

It feels like so long since we did a photography group outing, but Spring means longer days and better weather, so we decided that a lovely warm Spring day may bring us a really nice sunset down at Princes Pier in Melbourne. It turns out not enough cloud and not much colour (there had been so much more the evening before). But it was nice to just sit and chat with a few other photographers and play with my wide-angle lens and some long exposure shots…here are just two of my favs.

This is an iconic spot for Melbourne Photographers and fishermen alike, thankfully the new pier (we were standing on) is in much better shape than the old one we were shooting!
