Commenting on certain philosophical and political themes this week, can’t say it is my normal cup of tea…but let’s dive in for this weeks’ SYW, shall we?
Can we ever experience anything objectively? Why or why not? I really do feel that anything we experience that is deeply meaningful will always be twinged by emotions. Therefore it is almost impossible to experience objectively. The deeper the emotional connection, the less objectivity adheres to it. History shows the same event in a different light when you speak to people on opposite sides of the table. Something small and insignificant is possibly an area to be unemotional and objective, but picking between an apple or orange juice for breakfast is something quite different than life or death, to invade another country or even to purchase a new house or car. Look at our children (yes even furbabies), for most of us are so emotionally attached that we can not be objective about them as someone on the outside, is that not true?
Do humans have a soul? Do animals have a soul? What is a Soul?

Thanks Julz for Sharing Your Beautiful World. Despite your distaste for those sorts of questions, you did a great job in answering them in a thoughtful and honest way! Great! : D I always love your photography as you probably well know. And I’m more than a bit jealous that Spring wending into Summer is what you’re enjoying ‘down under’. Here? We’re wending our way to winter and cold and all the things that tend to make me grumpy. Enjoy your beautiful weather!

Thanks so much. I do adore Autumn, but, it is often way too brief. I DO not envy you going into Winter, I do not like the cold at all. However summer downunder and be quit hot. Not even December and we are looking at our first 40 of the season tomorrow. That is in excess of 100F
