Mondays Musings

I can pretty much say I am officially back from break lol…it’s been a super busy, but fun weekend. It’s hard to believe we have almost hit the end of January. The weather has been up and down, we had smoke clear and return, we had rain come and go, yesterday some parts of Melbourne had flash flooding and hailstones the size of golfballs…we had a few spots, totally crazy.

Friday I drove all the way out to the other side of Melbourne to run some errands, sure it was quite a drive but OK to spend the day in the car, with some tunes and cruise along. Stopped and had a cuppa and a chat with designer Bec and then drove home again. I stopped in at a renovators warehouse and purchased a lovely small vintage wooden door for the studio.

Saturday I spent the day with Desley (Musings of a frequently flying scientist), we drove down to Dromana Beach and had a wonderful lunch at Pier Street Kitchens, then wandered the boardwalk and pier by the beach. Time spent casually chatting about ‘life and stuff’ we haven’t had good catchup in awhile.

We then attended an Ikebana  flower arranging class in Mount Martha. Both of us adore our flowers, so it was a great class for us. Very small and very hands-on, learnt a lot.

Sunday, well I got up and did a mini shoot with my flowers, before packing up and setting up for another creative concept with Jess and Em

Then it was pack up, clean up, run some errands, do food shopping. Met our daughter after work for dinner and then back home…next thing you know the alarm is ringing and it’s Monday again! Next weekend will be more of the same. Hey! I am not complaining, I love it…just need to ease back into it before classes officially start back in two weeks!

Well not much more to say, lots to edit and then lots to post 🙂 I hope you all have an amazing week…
