In the studio – a little dark and moody

I truly do love a little dark and moody, and while I sometimes seem to jump around in genres, I inevitably end up back with what I love…dark and moody. I recently saw a photo by another photographer I admire who had these old tin cans for vessels or vases and I thought it was such a brilliant idea. I have this smaller one (actually a cleaned out dog food can) and a larger one (coffee can). I really love all the vintage feel and natural elements.

These are taken with a single LED light, on my old chippy table against the hand-painted canvas backdrop.
