This is a scheduled post, hopefully, I am sleeping in when this goes live! How rude, right? lol. It’s been another fairly busy weekend with another shoot with the amazing Verdessa Fairy Creations on Friday. I then met a fellow Awake artist Tony, for a strategy session and a quick photoshoot. TOny wants to explore self-portraiture more (I don’t), but that means he can be the model and we both shoot. While we are exploring similar themes, I am sure because of our varying styles and talent, then end artwork will be very different. Already I have finished one and Tony commented he never saw that when we took the photo…I will of course post some soon.
On Saturday my friend Sue and I headed out for a much-awaited modern Turkish Feast Food Class down in Mornington. You remember the Christmas Cookie class we took last year. It was so much fun and so yummy. This class was quite good and lots of yummy food, but we were with four strangers and not quite as much fun as when it was all friends.
Sunday I had a rare quiet day at home, alone! Slept in, pottered around in my PJs and enjoyed long, hot coffees! Eventually got showered and dressed and did some laundry, housework and tidied up the studio, then spent the day editing and creating a few digital art pieces. Very lazy and relaxing. Finished off the day with a cheeky glass of wine of two and a late-night…and why not Monday is another Public Holiday. Moomba is celebrated in Melbourne, it is Labour Day, but honestly, it’s just an excuse to party and play!
So today is a day off, I have no idea at what I will get up to as yet…so I hope you are having a lovely day, wherever you are and whatever you do…
